Specs and Details

Full first year (1984 date code on cranks) Campagnolo Victory Gruppo. This groupset was made for those who mourned the death of Nuovo Record and were not ready for Synchro and C-Record. This was one above Triomphe and still considered a sport racing and not a leisure group.

Group Includes (N.V.= Nuovo Victory):

• N.V. Headset
• N.V./Triomphe Aero Seatpost (has race decal attached)
• Selle Italia Turbo saddle, branded Bianchi, still bright white
• N.V. Brakeset with original pads and holders, N.V. levers with white gum hoods in amazing shape
• Original Bianchi Labeled housing and galvanized cables that did not need replacement
• Benotto Cello Bar Ribbon in Silver (original was white) with TTT bar plugs (will include original bianchi plus, but plastic chrome peeling)
• 3TTT Record Stem and Gran Prix Handlebars
• N.V. rear dearailleur with white pulleys, little to no wear
• N.V. clamp on front derailleur
• N.V. Friction Shift Levers
• N.V. Crankset (52/42 rings with campy chainring bolts) with original self extracting bolts and matching Italian thread bottom bracket.
• N.V. Pedals, cages, straps and strap buttons
• N.V./Triomphe hubs laced 3 cross with Italian Alpina spokes to Mavic G40 Clinchers
• Front Tire is a Schwinn Circuit (panaracer?) and rear is a Michelin, both are 700x20c
• Original Sedissport Chain
• Regina CX 6sp freewheel
• Original Cobra Alloy Bottle Cage (bottle not included)

Condition:

The Good: Looks almost unridden. Brakes still have seams on face, protective cardboard barrel adjuster holders (for shipping) still on brakes. Hoods are bright white and supple. Saddle is not worn or torn. Teeth on cogs/pulleys/chainrings show little to no wear. No rust on cables. No breakwear to rim surface. Everything spins, rotates and turns smoothly. Brakes stop on a dime and shifts smoothly.

The Not So Good: Needs a new chain and tires. Chain has more stretch than I like, tire sidewalls are dry from storage. There is some light pitting on some of the chrome bits (also from storage) but can only be see very up close. Some rub to the rear inside derailleur plates. Several small paint chips that could be easily touched up if matching paint were found/mixed. Light scratching to pedals and plates from clipped shoe insertion. Some surface rust to underside of toe clips that can be polished out.

No Dents, Dings, bends, warps, etc. Frame is straight and rides like the day it was purchased.

Asking $750 Cash or $775 paypal/credit card. Item is located in the Bay Area, California, USA. Shipping and packing fees at buyers expense. Will be shipped FedEx ground.
